Description
This is a pond that my dad used to take me frog gigging!
We would go sit in a boat after dark and listen to the frogs. We would paddle the boat quietly near the edge.
My job was to hold the flash light and shine right into their eyes while my dad then gigged the frog directly with what looked like a small spear! The boat would tip back and forth and scare me briefly but then I was ready to do it all again. These are some of the great memories that I have of me and my dad. We did alot of fun things together. We went fishing, rabbit and squirell hunting, mushroom finding, boating, and so many things!
This pond is now fenced and gated up. This is as close as I could get to it. But the memories poured out as I stood there just looking!

GREAT photo, better story!!! Sounds like you had a wonderful relationship with your dad. Daughters are always Daddy's little girls.... I miss my father dearly.
